InfraSonar started as the brainchild of an IT architect (Rik) and a senior software developer (Jeroen).

Both felt existing monitoring solutions needed to be simplified and took too much time to maintain. Together with a team of equally enthusiast software developers they created InfraSonar.

Maximum monitoring using a minimum configuration is one of our slogans which fulfills our unique approach to handling vast amounts of data. We organize monitoring data to make it universally accessible and helpful.

Converting sensor data into actionable knowledge that is our ultimate goal.

Technology

The InfraSonar backend is built using cloud-native principles and runs entirely in Kubernetes.

Time series data is stored in the time-series database SiriDB, while the heart of InfraSonar is ThingsDB, a highly available programmable database.

SiriDB and ThingsDB are developed and maintained by Cesbit; both solutions are fully open-source.
